I know I said this last time, but I think Steve and I are going to have to take the “whatever” approach more often. The conversations flow most naturally and we just have a better time recording as a result. It captures that casual, hanging out atmosphere that… well, the recording process really kind of is for us. Such podcasts were the ones I always enjoyed the most, and what few I continue to listen to retain that sort of tone and mood.

To that end, I’d like to invite any listeners to comment below and share your own feelings on the modern state of co-op gaming. This was one of those moments where describing the experience out loud made me realize I might be arguing green apples and red apples as opposed to apples and oranges. It certainly feels different to me, but to actually describe it makes it sound as if I’m just complaining that modern games don’t offer what I want… which is what they offer.
