My original intent this episode was more to reflect on those moments where you feel like you’re just not so into video games anymore, and then that one title comes along and it’s like you’re a kid again. Sitting in front of the TV, oblivious to the setting sun outside, hearing but not comprehending your parent telling you to shut the game off and come to dinner or get ready for bed. It feels like it happens less often as an adult, but sometimes, there’s that rare gem where the game becomes all encompassing in one’s thoughts.

We may not have had a truly rigid topic, but I think we had a good time simply reminiscing about games we simply loved, and sometimes that sort of happy attitude is just what the world needs. Hopefully our love of the medium warms your cold, cold hearts in this chilly end to winter.
