We’ll no doubt return to the show after season three airs, but for now Steve and I shoot the shlobnarbs about Voltron: Legendary Defender, a Netflix exclusive animation. I don’t have any personal nostalgia for the original show, but knowing that it was headed up by Avatar: The Last Airbender alumni and animated by the very same Studio Mir meant I was at least obligated to check it out. It’s not as deep or rewarding a show as Avatar, lacking the same thematic ambition, but both Steve and I come away approving of it.

Here’s to hoping the on-going seasons continue to get better.
