Eh! Steve! What do you think of single player healthcare?
Perhaps Steve and I shouldn’t record on Fridays any longer? Fewer bad puns perhaps? Regardless, we have a pretty long discussion about the closure of Visceral and our optimism that this isn’t indicative of the loss of single player games by big publishers. While we certainly cover the many of the biggest games this year that both included and could include things such as loot boxes, there have also been plenty of successful games this year that encourage publishers to put out single player games. Even if smaller scopes and budgets are necessary, the single player experience is not dead.
Are you as optimistic as Steve and I? Or perhaps you share a more cynical perspective of the industry? Feel free to share them in the comments below, comment on the Facebook page or e-mail ramblepak64 at gmail dot com.
