This week the RambleCast gets back into the swing of things by grappling from rooftop to rooftop in Batman: Arkham Knight. I am joined by Gerry and special guest Shawn Andrich of GamersWithJobs to talk about Batman: Arkham Knight. We give our general thoughts on the game in the first fifteen or twenty minutes, but otherwise most of the time is spent discussing every detail we can think of about the title. The three of us were largely unanimous in finding the game enjoyable, but trying so hard to do so much that it failed to be “great”. As many open-world games do, it was ultimately a Jack of All Trades and master of none.

However, we’re also agreed that it is largely a well-executed story. Once again, doing too much that it doesn’t need to, but the core story in there is a good one. We’re eager to see what Rocksteady does next.

You can follow more of Gerry’s work at his Geek Bravado blog or by visiting his YouTube channel.

You can hear more of Shawn on the GamersWithJobs Conference Call.

Opening and closing music performed by Powerglove.
